The Cat® 798 AC electric drive truck is designed to haul more — with more efficiency, controllability, and reliability than any other electric drive truck in the marketplace. And while it may be a recent addition to the Cat ultra-class lineup, it delivers the same powerful, proven performance you expect from a Cat truck. The 798 AC delivers a payload up to 372 tonnes (410 tons), high speed on grade, easier maintenance, and excellent electric retarding and brake performance. The result? Improved productivity, high availability, and more confident operators.
