Winning Four Awards at the 2024 IDEAS Awards, Trakindo Reaffirms its Commitment to ESG and DEI Aspects

PT Trakindo Utama (Trakindo) has succeeded in becoming one of the companies with the best communication practices related to Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives in the 2024 IDEAS Awards, through various innovations and initiatives that have succeeded in having a positive impact on all stakeholders. This award was announced at the IDEAS Awards 2024 Peak Event which took place at the Ascent Premiere and Convention Hotel, Malang on July 19, 2024.

 

The IDEAS Awards is one of the prestigious awards in Indonesia organized by PR Indonesia, a media that focuses on public relations (PR) issues in business and strengthening the competence of PR practitioners in Indonesia. This event is shown to give awards to all institutions (government, education, private, etc.) in Indonesia that have successfully implemented best practices in communicating ESG and DEI.

 

Through this event, Trakindo managed to win silver awards in 4 different sub-categories. In the ESG category, Trakindo won 2 silver awards  in the Social sub-category  related to Employee Relations and Governance related to Anti-Corruption. Then, in the DEI category, Trakindo won 2 silver awards  in the sub-categories of Equal Career Opportunities and  Employee Empowerment with Diverse Abilities. 

 

Trakindo's Corporate Communication & CSR Manager, Candy Sihombing, welcomed this award with gratitude, while emphasizing that Trakindo is committed to continuing to apply the principles of Good Corporate Governance in running its business, one of which is through communication practices related to ESG and DEI initiatives. "On behalf of all levels of management and employees of Trakindo, we would like to express our gratitude for the award we received today. We would also like to thank the entire jury and PR Indonesia for their awards and invitations. This award is a clear testament to our commitment to continue to adhere to the principles of Good Corporate Governance in doing business through various initiatives and communication practices related to ESG and DEI. This award gives us even more enthusiasm to continue to optimize our ESG and DEI communication initiatives and practices. Hopefully, this can also encourage us to be able to give birth to various innovations and positive impacts in the implementation of the program," explained Candy.

 

This award further strengthens Trakindo's commitment to continue to implement the principles of Good Corporate Governance through the implementation of initiatives and communication practices related to ESG and DEI that are good and aligned with the Company's core values.
