Trakindo Wins Two TOP CSR Awards 2023

Trakindo's commitment to carrying out Corporate Social Responsibility / Corporate Citizenship has received recognition from Top Business magazine, at the Top CSR Awards 2023 event.

In Top CSR Awards 2023, Trakindo won two awards at the same time, namely; the 4 Star category for the CO-OP Education Program, and Top Leader on CSR Commitment category were awarded to President Director of Trakindo, for giving the high commitment in supporting the completeness of the system, governance, and the successful implementation of Trakindo's social responsibility (CSR) program.

The TOP CSR Awards is an annual event that carried out by Top Business magazine which gives the highest awards to companies deemed giving the best CSR programs in Indonesia. This award involves rigorous assessment of various aspects, including innovation in CSR, generate positive social impact, program sustainability, stakeholder engagement, and transparent reporting, Which aims to increased effectiveness and improve the quality of CSR programs in operating companies in Indonesia.

 

The TOP CSR Award 2023, carries theme "CSR Innovation Programs for Sustainable Business Growth" which been participated by 188 registered companies. Then, after going through the assessment process as well as presentations from each company, the judge decided that Trakindo's CSR, policies and implementation were considered "Very Good" and had supported a sustainable business growth strategy, and aligned with the company's business growth strategy, with CSR Initiatives. which adopted CSV (Creating Shared Value), and ISO 26000 SR.

 

Candy Sihombing as Trakindo's Corporate Communication & CSR Manager expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the award that Trakindo managed to receive, while this award was also the result of the hard work of Trakindo's people in the success of every social responsibility activity. "The acquisition of these two awards is the result of the company's commitment to implementing social programs that are sustainable and have a positive impact, as well as further strengthening Trakindo's steps to continue to focus on implementing Corporate Citizenship programs, especially in the Education pillar as one of the pillars with the largest share to participate in as well as in advancing the future of the country, “explained Candy.

Since 2022, Trakindo has also completed a continuous education strengthening program at every level of education, starting from the elementary, junior high and Trakindo CO-OP programs for the SMK and Vocational Higher Education levels. In 2023, Trakindo has collaborated with various levels of schools across the archipelago, namely with 30 elementary schools, 10 junior high schools, 8 vocational schools, 6 polytechnics and universities with more than 4,200 graduates ready to work. Going forward, Trakindo will continue to strengthen program quality in order to advance the community as one of Trakindo's stakeholders.

 

As Trakindo's flagship program, the CO-OP Education Program was created as an embodiment of Trakindo's mission, which is to build a company capable of creating decent and quality jobs for as many Indonesian people as possible. "In line with the spirit of the company ‘Advancing You Forward’, the implementation of the CO-OP program is one form of the company's contribution in preparing the nation's next generation to become a qualified and work-ready workforce, for the sake of the company's business continuity going forward," concluded Candy.
