Trakindo Named Indonesia Best CSR in Heavy Equipment Sector 2024

Business media company The Iconomics named Trakindo as Indonesia Best CSR in Heavy Equipment Sector 2024 for its dedication and commitment in carrying out CSR programs and promoting sustainable business principles

PT Trakindo Utama has been named Indonesia Best CSR in Heavy Equipment Sector 2024 through various innovations and CSR initiatives that have had a good impact on the people of Indonesia. This award was announced at the Indonesia 50 Best CSR Award 2024 event which took place on May 7, 2024, at Borobudur Hotel, Jakarta.

Indonesia 50 Best CSR Award is a prestigious awarding event in Indonesia held by The Iconomics. Through this event, Trakindo is considered as  the Best CSR Organizing Company in the heavy equipment sector in Indonesia. This achievement is a recognition of Trakindo's commitment and consistency in providing benefits to the community through its four CSR pillars, namely Education, Health, Environment, and Humanitarian Assistance.

In this event, the winner was determined based on the results of analysis and assessment from The Iconomics team through a media monitoring  approach to the publication of the company's CSR activities in the media. There are two assessment indicators in this study, namely the total activities and the quality of CSR program implementation. Total activities are the cumulative number of the company's overall CSR activities through the pillars of Education, Health, Environment, and others. Meanwhile, the quality of implementation is assessed through four criteria, namely standard implementation, sustainability implementation, innovative implementation, and impact.

Trakindo Utama Corporate Communications & CSR Manager Candy Sihombing was present at the awarding night and welcomed this award. "On behalf of all levels of Trakindo's Management and Employees, we would like to thank The Iconomics for the award given to us. As a national company, we are always committed to always contribute to the progress of the nation by running a responsible and sustainable business. We make this award as a spirit to continue to optimize CSR programs, while creating various innovations in their implementation," explained Candy.

Therefore, Trakindo emphasized that the commitment in prioritizing the principles of Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) through various CSR initiatives has become an inseparable part of the company's Vision, Mission, and Core Values.
