Trakindo Innovakids 2025: Building Resilient Generations Through Innovative Learning

Trakindo's ongoing effort to cultivate a culture of innovation from an early age in children as the nation’s future generation through challenge-based learning (CBL).

As part of its ongoing commitment to education, PT Trakindo Utama (Trakindo) launched Trakindo Innovakids 2025 under the theme “Strong Character, Healthy Mind: Innovation for the Future Generation.” The program aims to prepare Indonesian students to be resilient, mentally healthy, and ready to face future challenges through a Challenge-Based Learning (CBL) approach.

Bringing together character-building, creativity, and technology, this year’s program involved 30 partner schools from elementary and junior high levels. Activities ranged from mental wellness initiatives, social research, and innovation development to Career Day and parenting sessions.

 

Three elementary and three junior high schools were crowned winners in a virtual grand final, where students presented their innovation projects judged on creativity, functionality, impact, and presentation. First place was awarded to SDN 46 Cakranegara in Mataram and SMPN 7 Balikpapan in Balikpapan.

 

“Trakindo believes sustainable innovation comes from a generation that is not only intellectually capable but also mentally strong and full of character. Through Innovakids, we aim to foster a safe and creative learning environment,” said Yulia Yasmina, Trakindo’s Chief Administration Officer.
