Trakindo Completes Engine Overhaul Project for P&O Maritime’s Fly Challenger

PT Trakindo Utama (Trakindo) has recently completed the engine overhaul of the Fly Challenger, a vessel owned by P&O Maritime. This project was a result of close collaboration between the Trakindo Batam and Trakindo Utama Singapore (TUS) teams. Fly Challenger is the second P&O Maritime vessel to entrust its engine overhaul to us, following the successful completion of Fly Resilience in 2024.

Our technical team carried out the overhaul of Cat® ME 3516 and Cat® AE C18 engines at the Pax Ocean shipyard in Tanjung Uncang, with a strong focus on precision and adherence to high standards. The project was completed on schedule, ensuring the vessel could resume operations with optimal performance. This achievement further reinforces our commitment as a reliable solutions provider in the maritime industry, backed by advanced technology and a team experienced in addressing complex technical challenges.
