Strengthens Commitment to Human Capital Development through Collaboration with Sorowako Polytechnic

.

Trakindo officially established a strategic partnership with Sorowako Polytechnic (Poliwako) through the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) as the foundation for the development of the Heavy Equipment Study Program. This initiative reflects Trakindo’s commitment to addressing the growing demand for skilled talent in the industrial sector.

The collaboration highlights Trakindo’s active role as an industry partner in supporting vocational education development, particularly in South Sulawesi. Through this partnership, Trakindo contributes to the development of an industry-based curriculum while also providing relevant practical learning experiences for students.

Sorowako Polytechnic, operating under the auspices of PT Vale Indonesia Tbk through the Sorowako Education Foundation, continues to grow as a vocational education institution that adapts to industry needs. The relationship between Trakindo and Poliwako has been established for years through Internship and On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs, which have now evolved into a more structured strategic partnership.

Since 1996, Trakindo has consistently played an active role in advancing vocational education in Indonesia through its Heavy Equipment Engineering CO-OP Program. The program reflects the company’s commitment to developing highly skilled and industry-ready talent equipped to meet the demands of the heavy equipment sector.

As part of this initiative, Trakindo has established strategic partnerships with 10 vocational high schools and 8 polytechnics across Indonesia. Through these collaborations, the company continues to strengthen the quality of vocational education while fostering adaptive, professional, and competitive young talents prepared to contribute to the industry.
