Strengthening Partnerships through CVA and Digital Solutions

Trakindo and PT PLN Indonesia Power have reinforced their collaboration by signing the 10th Amendment to their Customer Value Agreement (CVA). The decade-long partnership focuses on maintenance support, skills development, and digital solutions to maintain the reliability of heavy equipment supporting power plant operations.

PT PLN Indonesia Power operates 66 Caterpillar heavy equipment units across seven strategic locations. To support equipment readiness, Trakindo carries out initiatives ranging from site assessments and equipment handovers to operator and basic maintenance training. These services are complemented by digital solutions that simplify equipment monitoring and maintenance management.

As part of its customer support services, Trakindo held a technical guidance session for representatives from the Suralaya 1–7, Suralaya 8, Labuan, and Lontar power generating units. The session provided an opportunity for customers to discuss technical requirements and explore services that support heavy equipment operations.

Topics included the use of B40 biodiesel in Caterpillar equipment, the application of VisionLink® to monitor equipment condition and support maintenance planning, and the use of Parts.Cat.Com (PCC) to access parts information and meet spare parts requirements.

By combining technical support, skills development, and digital solutions, Trakindo and PT PLN Indonesia Power continue to strengthen the management of heavy equipment supporting power plant activities. This ongoing partnership is expected to help maintain equipment readiness and support a reliable energy supply for Indonesia.
