Strengthening OHS Commitment, Trakindo Wins Four ISEA 2023

Company consistency in implementing a culture of Safety, Occupational Health & Environment (OHS) in all lines of company activities

Armed with the spirit of Advancing You Forward, Trakindo as a provider of Caterpillar heavy equipment solutions in Indonesia has once again achieved the results of implementing OHS culture, namely winning four awards at once in the 2023 Indonesia Safety Excellence Awards (ISEA) organized by First Indonesia Magazine together with PT Indonesia Popular Mandiri. Carrying the theme "Strengthening Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) in Business Sustainability,"

The awards achieved by Trakindo are The Best CEO Committed in Safety Culture Award, The Best for Digital Safety Effort, The Best Health and Safety in Heavy Equipment Rental Services Category, and The Most Safety Culture.

ISEA itself is an award for companies who are able to consistently implement activities that concern to Occupational Safety and Health  values in each of their company's business activities. Furthermore, this activity aims to find out how companies reformulate OHS strategy and culture both in society, business industry, energy and academia in actively participating in carrying out strategic, promotive and implementative activities related to OHS culture.

The ISEA 2023 competition was attended by more than 100 leading companies from various industrial sectors in Indonesia. The judging session was not just an assessment but rather an opportunity to exchange ideas regarding the implementation of OHS practices in each company's area and 35 companies were selected that successfully passed the selection stage. This awards event is also a means for synergy, exchanging ideas and innovations to develop excellent and adaptive OHS in the midst of disruption. Bearing in mind that business actors are required to continue to innovate and be able to recognize OHS risks by implementing agile mitigation strategies and anticipatory steps to improve the quality of business performance.
 

The successful implementation of OHS Culture at Trakindo is a manifestation of the ongoing commitment that has been established since 1970 to always implement OHS optimally. Not just to be adaptive amidst change and provide protection for workers, the environment and society, but to increase productivity.
