Proving Occupational Safety and Health, Trakindo Wins the Best of The Best Company Award at the ISEA 2022

Successfully won four awards, namely the "Best CEO Committed to Safety Culture Award," "Best Health Services During COVID-19," "Best Safety Program," and "Best Safety Innovation Award." Trakindo won the "best of the best" award at the 2022 Indonesia Safety Excellence Awards (ISEA), organized by First Indonesia Magazine. This achievement is a concrete manifestation of Trakindo's efforts to create a safe and comfortable work environment for its employees according to the K3 strategy and program.

Trakindo won the "Best of the Best" award at the 2022 Indonesia Safety Excellence Awards (ISEA) event organized by First Indonesia Magazine. Carrying the theme "Working Safety Culture in the Digital Era to Rise Stronger to Recover Together," the announcement of the winner of the Indonesia Safety Excellence Award took place at the El Royale Hotel Bandung. The "Best of the Best" award that was won was obtained through the acquisition of four awards for the following categories:

 

1. The Best CEO Committed to Safety Culture Award

2. The Best Health Services During COVID-19

3. The Best Safety Program

4. The Best Safety Innovation Award

 

The Indonesia Safety Excellence Awards are held to raise the awareness of business actors about the importance of incorporating occupational safety and health (K3) values into every company's business activities.Furthermore, this activity aims to find out how companies reformulate OSH strategies and programs that are more adaptive in the midst of challenges and changes, including efforts to increase worker productivity through increasing OSH competency knowledge and skills in the workplace.

The 2022 Indonesia Safety Excellence Awards competition was attended by more than 40 leading companies from various industrial sectors, out of the 100 companies that participated in the judging. The successful implementation of OSH in Trakindo's work environment cannot be separated from the commitment, support, and direct involvement of company leaders in the strategies and programs implemented.

In the management of human resources (HR), serious attention is paid to ensuring that the human resources owned by the company are able to make an optimal contribution in an effort to achieve company goals through several aspects that influence them, including leadership and K3. Through this activity, business actors are expected to be able to identify various risks that may occur through crisis management that focuses on reducing risks and their impacts, how mitigation plans will be implemented, and how preparedness aspects of leadership are implemented, with SMK3 and ISO 45001:2018 as national and international references.

The ISEA event is not just a stage where the jury asks questions about the application of OSH practices in their respective companies, but is an event for synergizing, exchanging ideas, and innovating to develop excellent and adaptive OSH in the midst of disruptions. Global actors are required to continue to innovate and be able to recognize OHS risks by implementing agile mitigation strategies and anticipatory steps to improve the quality of business performance.
