Planting Hope, Safeguarding the Future

Trakindo reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability through its Green Friday initiative at Site Lati, under the theme “Cut One Tree, Plant Two.” The philosophy underscores the principle that every environmental impact must be balanced with a greater restorative effort.

Carried out at the end of 2025, a total of 1,216 tree seedlings were planted to strengthen the ecological function of the operational area. The selected species, namely cajuput, sengon laut, agarwood, and durian, represent a balance between conservation value and economic potential while also supporting land rehabilitation and environmental sustainability.

This activity also involves our partners, including our clients at PT Berau Coal and BUMA, emphasizing that environmental conservation is a shared responsibility across sectors.
