From Coffee Meetings to Unit Handover

.

Great things can grow from small steps. In East Kalimantan, a simple coffee meeting with customers paved the way for relationships that eventually led to the sale and handover of 2 CAT® Mini Excavators, models 305.5 and 307, in Desa Tiong Ohang and Desa Batoq Keloq in Mahakam Ulu Regency.

The coffee meetings were not meant to sell, but to share time and understand the customers’ needs, challenges, and project plans. Through these casual conversations, trust was built, and the sales team was seen as a caring and reliable partner.

This relationship developed through regular communication, site visits, and solution-focused discussions. Customers felt heard and became open to exploring the most suitable heavy equipment, ultimately leading to the sales.

The excavators will support agricultural and plantation activities in the upper Mahakam River region, helping to modernize planting processes, land management, and increase the productivity of the communities in Desa Tiong Ohang and Desa Batoq Keloq.

The handover of the units represents Trakindo’s Fast and Certain commitment to boosting productivity and sustainability, while also introducing rural communities to the use of heavy equipment for modernizing agriculture and plantations.

This story demonstrates that small steps, like inviting someone for coffee, can lead to major success. From a simple coffee meeting to the handover of heavy equipment, small initiatives can be the beginning of tangible and far-reaching achievements.
