Mangrove Planting Action to Green the Earth

As a tangible expression of commitment to environmental sustainability, employees of Trakindo Head Office (HO) held a mangrove planting activity at the Angke Kapuk Nature Park (TWA), Jakarta, on October 25, 2025. This activity was part of the Trakindo Volunteers initiative themed Caring for the Earth, which encourages employees to take voluntary action in preserving the environment while fostering a spirit of social responsibility.

In an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, 28 volunteers from Trakindo HO took part in the activity. They planted mangrove seedlings as a concrete step to help maintain the balance of coastal ecosystems, protect the shoreline from abrasion, and support efforts to mitigate climate change. The Angke Kapuk area was chosen because it serves as an important conservation site that helps preserve the stability of Jakarta’s coastal environment.

Beyond its environmental benefits, this activity also became a meaningful opportunity to strengthen teamwork and nurture a sense of social responsibility among employees. Through this collaboration, volunteers realized that small steps taken together can create a significant impact for the planet.

Moving forward, this initiative will continue to be carried out regularly by Trakindo Volunteers across various branches. With more employees getting involved, Trakindo hopes to further spread the spirit of caring for the Earth and protecting the environment, in line with the company’s commitment to sustainability.
