1. Infrastructure
To open new palm oil area, the first step to be done is to build access road, and canal refers to estate’s block design. 2. Land Preparation
After access road and canal built, next step is to clearing the area inside the block from trees, weed, or other. Aim of this activity is to prepared area inside the block ready for planting. 3. Planting
3.a. New Planting

3.b. Replanting
At the the block which already planted with palm oil tree, the existing tree must be felled first, and the stump then chipped. After above finished, the new planting can be done using full manually or semi-automatic. 4. Maintenance
The road in Palm Oil estate constructed to be the main hauling facility of harvested fresh fruit bunches (FFB). The FFB must be as soon as possible delivered to mill to be further processed. To ensure hauling can be done with fewer obstacles, the road construction must be maintained regularly. Beside the road, canal also needs to be maintained regularly as a transportation route, irrigation stream, and drainage stream. 5. Mill

The waste of this process or by product can be used again as biomass fuel, organic matter, or as material for different product. 6. Electricity from POME
Methane gas is the most harmful to the environment. Methane gas was produced from POME (Palm Oil Mill Effluent) by anaerobic bacteria that exist in the ponds. The bacteria will eat the pome and produced methane gas. Usually palm oil mill build many ponds for pome treatment without considering of methane gas that will expose to atmosphere and this will create global warming. But nowadays there is a technology to capture methane gas and convert it into energy through gas generator set application. Caterpillar has announced CG product (acquired MWM in 2011) for this application.CG product has three (3) model CG132, CG170 and CG260.with rating vary from 400kW until 3,370kW in biogas application. Some agriculture company has adopted and run this technology in order to get the “Green” certificate for their CPO products.
